Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

The service was great and the food is consistent with what you know about Olive Garden. The ingredients are fresh, the taste is pretty flavorful. I love that they are constantly trying new menu items despite being an older restaurant. The Dallas and breadsticks are a classic. The new spicy Italian soup with greens and potatoes is very hearty. The fettuccine alfredo is skat underseasoned in my opinion, no matter what location I'm at, but more cheese and a little salt go along way and keep it a favorite. Add broccoli and its even better.

Our server and food were great. The wait was long to get seated and to receive anything. Even just the starters, salad and breadsticks, took Forever. Not sure if they are short staffed in the back or what but it did take a long time to receive anything from the kitchen. However when it did arrive it was delicious.

Hostess tonight was LESS than stellar, older woman, seemed grumpy (not only to us, but to each guest) as we waited in the lobby. Food was very on-par for Olive Garden. My mother, who is a 78-yr-old senior, will only eat at Olive Garden or Chili's..... tonight it was O.G. she ordered the Sharp Alfredo, I got the Stuffed Shells and some kind of Shrimp/ Onion / Bell Pepper appetizer, and we both had salad. All was as expected for an O.G. our server did a good job.

Food was decent. Customer service was ok. Now,individually the server ,Israel, was awesome. Our food got sent back, because it was wrong sauce and meat. Israel was happy to get it corrected. Then when my food did come back correct, I found a piece of plastic under my broccoli. I told Israel so that maybe he could address this with the cook,since the cook messed our food up the first time. I also had thoughts that maybe the manager would’ve been reasonable to come speak with me and apologize. Guess that’s just how I think. I wasn’t looking for anything to be compensated,just a gesture of kind and forgiving words would’ve been nice. And it’s really odd of me to not ask for something to be done when it comes to correcting my food,especially with plastic in it. I just didn’t have the energy today. Probably won’t be back. I’ve never been a fan anyway.

Worst restaurant experience of my life! We waited an hour and still hadn’t received our meals. As you can see by the utensils I questioned the sanitation of the whole facility. We had to ask for disposable utensils. Waiter had no idea how long it would take to bring our food out. I give them zero stars but I had to put one in order to leave a review. I always have problems with Olive Garden . Never again to return.
