La Antigua

Great food! The waitress only spoke Spanish, which honestly should not have been as big of an issue as it turned out to be. Getting a refill on a drink shouldn't be affected by a language barrier, considering my glass was nearly empty and I was pointing at it. She did try, and she was very nice, but I think she focused too much on trying to communicate and overlooked some things. But that's all very forgivable given the amazing Carne Asada. Their rice and beans are unmatched, and the fried plantains were just right. I highly recommend ordering the guacamole as well.

As always, the food was super good and tasty. For this town I would like to add that the guacamole was a little bad today, it can be because it was made earlier in the morning and by the time we went it was starting to get damage. My husband asked for the churrasco, which is $19 and we think that for that price the churrasco quality could have been better, plus the size as well. Overall very good food, nice people.

The food was excellent! The server was very friendly. A great variety of dishes. We had a large party and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Good size portions for the price. If you don’t want large portions they have several a la carte items to choose from. I generally don’t like rice and beans, but theirs were above par and I enjoyed even that. The plantains that came with my dish were not too dry and very flavorful. I will definitely be visiting again.
