Outback Steakhouse

Today is Mother's Day and I thought I would spoil myself by ordering some food from Outback since the last time I had it the food was amazing but not this time. I really wish I would have chosen a different place to order from. The cream spinach was watery and had a bitter taste. The fried mushrooms were extremely greasy, the breading was mushy and lacked flavor. I really really was looking forward to the salad but couldn't eat it because the lettuce was weepy and translucent. I also ordered the steak cheese dip which had fatty pieces in it. The chicken was a tad dry but tasted okay. The steak macaroni didn't even have the same pizazz as last time.. I spent $60 on this meal and I wish Doordash could give me my money back. So so sooooo disappointed.

Food was great. Servers were awesome. Back of the house was not so good. We didn't receive our drinks, appetizers and food in any semblance of order. One of our entrees was 10 minutes later than all the others. The Bloomin' Onion was rather on the small and overcooked size. We were only given 2 loaves of bread for a party of 7. We informed the server several times that this was a birthday outing, but he failed to acknowledge it. Certainly not the best Outback experience in my memories.

Everything was perfect. Excellent service! Our server was genuinely friendly, and provided drinks and bread immediately. We never had to look for her, or wait for anything. The Bloomin Onion came fast, and was hot and tasty. My salad was cold and crispy with a delicious mound of real blue cheese on top. My steak was absolutely awesome even though I ordered a small one, and didn't expect it to get much attention. Nice baked potato. Long story short, I ate it all! I truly appreciate it.

This is the only Outback we come too in the Nashville area. Somehow every time they look super packed but we get sat immediately. Madison, is the best waitress! She is always so kind and on point! We manage to get her every time we go and we love it! Props to great service Madison! The food is always cooked To the correct temperatures and we never have to wait very long to get our meals!

This trip to Outback definitely redeemed itself for the last 2 times I had gone. The second time, I had not wanted to go, but it was a family affair and I regretted it. This trip however was excellent. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Our food was cooked just right and not burned like the last 2 times. We received it in a timely manner, not having to wait almost an hour. It is back on my "go back to" list. Kudos to the staff of the Rivergate Outback.
