We went there last night. I chose that place accidentally while passing by. I got interested by the fact that the menu was not enormous: about 5 starters,5 mains & 5 desserts & they keep changing it.
I had beef tartare as a starter & it was good except maybe a little bit too much salt.
I had tuna with black rice & asparagus & I liked it too. They have good
dessert menu . Service is efficient . The location has nothing to boast about itself though .

Had a fantastic meal at Benavra tonight. Great food and great service.
Team really made us welcome. Highly recommended. Ox cheeks were superb (see pic) and friends had the chicken which was also fantastic.

Great restaurant for "budget fine dining", great service from the owner and staff. Food is great and it looks and served nicely. It is our local restaurant so we will be back very often 😉

Great new restaurant in La Cala with excellent food and cocktails. Felt a little rushed at first but explained this and got resolved. Homemade bread and olives were given complimentary. I had the mushroom and prawn starter and the ox cheek. All cooked perfectly. Lovely family owned place with reasonable prices and friendly staff. Good atmosphere on terrace with lovely surroundings.

A lovely family-run restaurant with top quality food and a really nice outdoor dining area. The owners spend time talking to us and you could really tell that they were passionate about their food. The house wine was amazing and we got complimentary olives and homemade foccaccia to start as well as complimentary Baileys and Limoncello at the end of our meal. The best place we've eaten so far and definitely worth visiting.

Excelente. Cené allí con mi familia, la comida muy rica y el dueño muy atento.
Muy buena opción si vas con niños y si vas sin ellos.
Recomiendo el risotto y la carrilera de buey la tarta de pera y la tabla de quesos.

We just had a splendid meal at this well run place. They have a lovely shaded courtyard, fantastic and attentive staff and superb food at great prices. Not your average tapa bar at the coast, this restaurant is the perfect go to for decent food in a laid back atmosphere. Kid friendly with a simple but very good children's menu, crayons and a game card ;-)
The food and drinks are a little more refined than elsewhere which is a nice change. Will definitely go back!

Wow what an amazing find on the coast! amazingly presented and tastes awesome. The beetroot and goats cheese to start was out of this world. Cannot rate this place enough. Staff were friendly attentive and very professional. Shall definitely visit again next time I’m here.
