Pao Pao Fast Food

Wow is what I said every time I took a bite of something. Everything was fresh, full of flavor and just overall fantastic. It’s tucked away in a little strip mall next to the gas station so I feel like it gets looked past and more people need to know about it! But it really is a gem. Staff was super friendly too. Can not wait to go back

Hands down the best food I've had in Miami-Dade/ Broward in these 4 months of living here. My husband had the Chuzo Desgranado de Pollo and I had the PAO-PAO Arepa which are both equally amazing. Each bite is an explosion of flavors in your mouth. Altogether our food had 4 different types of meat and every single one was incredible. The shredded chicken on my arepa brought me memories of chicken pie my mom makes in Brazil, the shredded beef was so savory, pork rinds super tasty and the perfect amount of crunchy and the grilled chicken was amazing. Oh, and all the sauces they offer you for no extra charge, the piña and verde were our all time favorites. Also, you can't beat the price for the amount of food they serve you, my arepa had to be at least half a pound. And the chuzo was SO MUCH we could have easily shared it and we'd still get out of here super full for less than $10. We're already planning the next time we'll come back! Definitely worth it!

This place is small but it has BIG taste. I am very happy to have found it. There's a wonderful selection of arepas as well as other items (though I'm most certainly in love with the arepas). If you like meat and/or cheese on top of a bun /tortilla/arepa: this is the place. It's like Checkers, if it was Columbian. I'll be back several more times. If you go, I'm sure you'll be returning as well.
