Jimmy's Eastside Diner

I love Jimmy's. The food is excellent! The staff is wonderful! Iris is the best! It's a very special place here. I wish I had the opportunity to eat here everyday.... but it can be a little pricey... but its to be expected in Miami but that's all restaurants in Dade... The portions and price are a value for the location, service, and food quality.

Wonderful people. Kind, and fast. My wife said the hasbrowns were the best she has had in her life. Coffee cup was never empty, and we were never waiting for anything. I really enjoyed the small town, old diner vibe. Very enjoyable experience I highly recommend stopping by this establishment. We will return.

Throwback diner vibes for sure. If you are from the northeast, Jimmy's will give you nostalgia. The customer service is attentive and the waitress offered suggestions. I tried the pecan pancake and it was average. I guess I though the pecan would be broken in pieces, they gave me whole pecan in the pancake. Next time, crush the pecans before they hit the batter for a better pancake. I ordered to go the tuna sandwich and that was a great choice. It is made fresh with green onion and regular onion and iceberg lettuce and tomato was super fresh. The bread wasn't overly toasted either and the steak fries were perfection. Food was priced reasonably.

If you're looking for fine tablecloth dining... Well, keep going... However, if you're looking for a typical diner gastronomic experience... Stop in and enjoy... In addition, when possible... Remember to pay it forward and treat our men and women in blue... In the meantime, thank you for your time and for flying Lufthansa Airlines.

We haven't been here since before Covid. It was good to be back. The same staff were there, and they were as attentive as always. The owners are always friendly and welcoming. We were there today for a late breakfast/ lunch. Being a Tuesday , it was on the slow side, and not many people were there. It was also an hour before they closed at 3:00 pm. I ordered my fave, eggs with Miami ham steak, and my daughter had the tuna melt with fries. My hashbrowns were overcooked and kind of dried out, but the ham steak and eggs were good! The Tuna Melt wasn't that good per my daughter. It could've been an off day for them It happens. Service was quick and attentive. Parking was available right in front of the restaurant. They have a big lot for parking, including wheelchair accessibility.
