Hungry Bear

Aint NOBODY doing subs like Hungry Bear is doing subs in South Florida. Fluffy soft sub rolls piled up with mounds of quality deli meats or even grilled options like a cheese steak or teriyaki chicken, then showered with your favorite toppings and seasonings. I repeat...ain't NOBODY got it like Hungry Bear. I took my sub intake down to once a week maybe twice, just to limit myself to Hungry Bears on days that I'm off. Publix,Jimmy John's ,Jersey Mike's....none of them will do after trying the Bear. Also very friendly and helpful staff, will have you in and out in a few mins. Dont forget to get a drink, they got that "good" ice 🤤😍

My friend and I went here for lunch and the food was excellent. The ingredients were fresh, the taste was delicious, and the portion hearty. I got the buffalo sub and he got the bomb burger. We were both beyond satisfied when we finished. The blue cheese did not taste like it had any preservatives. I highly recommend this sub place. One of the best in Miami.

My sister took me here so I can try their subs. When you enter, the place is small and tight. Go up to the counter and order your subs then step to the right to pay. Then wait to be called. We ordered the Philly cheese steak. Upon opening the wrap paper the sauce was all over. It was a mess. The meat was delicious but kind of dry in my opinion. I wouldn’t mind to try their subs again.

I went to pick up my wife to go to lunch with no particular kind of food. Saw that there was a sub shop within walking distance. Boy were we surprised. On of the best non Jewish deli pastrami subs I’ve had in a while. My wife had the teriyaki chicken sub which was also delicious! If your in the area you should stop @hungrybearsubshop. Do plan to return. They had a very large menu.

A friend told about this hole in the wall sub shop that I should try. So I did and I fell in love with the honey mustard chicken sandwich with wheat bread. It's so delicious the honey mustard isn't overpowering it's loaded with chicken and made fresh to order. I always tell myself that I'm going to try a different sub but I just love it so much that I end up with with the same one! It's a lot food but it's worth it. The only bad thing is the parking is limited so l'd recommend getting there a little before lunch time before it gets super busy.

Damn that was good. I got the honey mustard chicken on white with Mayo, green peppers, onions, lettuce, tomato, salt, pepper, oil & vinegar. Excellent bread, speedy service, tasty honey mustard. Absolutely delicious and hot! My friend got a Buffalo chicken Caesar and that was so good too. We sat and ate at a couple tables they have outside under a tree. Really hit the spot. Highly recommended

They put the toppings at the bottom and then the meat on top. It's better that way. You taste the steak better. One of the best steak and cheese sub I've had. Didn't give five stars, cuz I would have loved some hot and crispy french fries. They don't have that there. Also the benches outside could use some cleaning.

on the pricey side of sub shops, but incredibly tasty! i had the grilled veggie medley which included peppers, mushrooms, onions, and cauliflower- all of which were very good and fresh, not mushy like frozen vegetables. the bread was alright, but the mix of the fresh cooked vegetables with mustard and mayonnaise gave everything a killer flavour. would definitely go again to this delicious hidden spot!
