Bar Da Vila

We were down for the Orange Bowl and looking for an authentic Brazilian restaurant when we found Bar D-A Vila. It has a great atmosphere and even better service! Our waiter was extremely attentive and very friendly and we felt like the whole staff was there for us. My wife is Brazilian and felt like she was back in Belo Horizonte. We tried several dishes and all of the food options were delicious. I strongly recommend this place for anyone looking to get out of the hustle of Miami and looking for a little get away in the city. 5 Stars all around, we will definitely be back!

- server didn’t speak English - didn’t provide any napkins - gave us plates so tiny it was hard to eat the streak without feeding the table - added 18% gratuity for a party of 2 - service was horrible. You derseve $0.00. - will never go back - 45 minute wait when the place was empty. We were the only 2 people

I might confess I was not expecting to be thaaat good. I thought it would be just like any other Brazilian place I've visited before but it was definitely way better! First of all, the restaurant is located in a charming tiny tiny village in Downtown Miami. The restaurant is very cozy with sits in and outside. Very friendly staff and the food? The food was amazing! We had coxinha, pastel, mandioca and bolinho the queijo. They were all very nice, crunchy (the "crunchiest" ever!) and they were not drenched in oil as I usually think fried food is. I am coming back for sure! Congrats to the staff for the nice service and also to the chef for the amazing food. See you soon!

I ordered a 19.00 overpriced appetizer and I got a 39.00 plate and didn't know until I got the bill. That and two sodas AND terrible service and over an hour wait for the appetizer AND 18% tip they added to the bill, it ended up on a total of 68.00 for an appetizer with two sodas. Now the food. OVER 50% of the churrasco was fat not cleaned meat. I know fat makes the meat taste better but at these prices I'm paying for food I want to eat, not fat only a dog would eat.
