My boyfriend and I love this place. Cute for dates. Good wine selection, delicious food. We have gone several times, and the best they have is their live music on the weekends. However, sometimes it can get very loud inside. Food: I will recommend their octopus and go with their recommended wines, never disappointed. Their hummus selection is great, too. Plates are small, so it is a good idea to try different ones and share Wines: great selection with decent prices Ambiance: small location, we really live to eat at the bar. I’ve heard some great things about this restaurant and decided to give it a try tonight for some light apps for date night. To begin, the restaurant is gorgeous on the inside, the low lighting definitely gave the interior a romantic feel. Both waitresses greeted us and because the restaurant wasn’t too busy they gave us an option of where we wanted to sit. We ordered a glass of wine each and had 4 apps while we chatted. We ordered the hummus, prosciutto wrapped dates, escargot and the stuffed grape leaves. The hummus was clearly homemade and delicious - served with a ton of warm pita bread. I haven’t had grape leaves in the longest time and I was really looking forward to them and they did not disappoint. The dates were also super delicious! All and all I would love to come back to this restaurant and try some more food! 10/10 recommend

Barmeli is a quiet little spot that will knock your socks off! The happy hour is absolutely incredible. I'd recommend getting all the dips to share. You really can't go wrong. They have fantastic selection of natural wines, along with some delicious orange wines. Sangria was bright and fruity. The owner even sat down with us to share a moment and a glass of wine. Made us all feel right at home.

This amazing place is a hidden gem. The menu is diverse with many mostly Greek dishes, but it's not your typical Greek joint food. There's a great mix of mezze fusion and traditional dishes. The quality is exceptional. I've never had a less than stellar dish at Barmeli. They also have a very thoughtful and reasonably priced wine menu with several Greek options. We went with a group of 6 and ordered 12-14 tapas to share along with a few bottles of Greek wine. Everything was excellent. Second visit was just as great. Now, we dine they're regularly. The ambience, especially on weekends, feels like you are in Europe. The Spanish guitar player adds to the character and it's not too loud for good conversation. Service is prompt and friendly. I would 100% recommend to others and always look forward to my next visit.

This is a cozy Greek restaurant in Biscayne Blvd area, north of 69th and close to Miami Shores. A lot of great options and many Greek & Mediterranean classics, with lamp meatballs and baked feta cheese some of our favorite choices. The coconut-lemon cake with Passion Fruit gelato is an excellent dessert combo to finish your meal right! Till next time :-)
