In Short, good for the circumstances I explain below, good dough, light and ok tang but it looks better than it tastes.
Now for the more in depth review. So at this point after a year of trying many pizza places in the South Bay we can all agree that a true NY style pizza doesn't exist out here. Many acceptable ones but none are great. The cheesy garlic bread was disappointing. Looked like my nephew was a giving a shot at cooking. Dry with some cheese melted in the microwave. Garlic knots were good. Now for the NY style pizza. It looked good and when I saw it I was excited to dig in. The dough was light and had a little crunch on the crust. Tang exists but I was hoping for a bit more. overall good but a bit underwhelming when I go through the whole experience. Also this spot was a bit pricey but it is located between Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach so it caters to the area.

Ordered a New York style pizza, a Sicilian style pizza, and cheesy garlic bread. The pizzas looked decent, but lacked flavor. I like how you can customize each half of the pizza, but they charge per topping and didn’t include all of the ones that I ordered and paid for. The cheesy garlic bread was burnt, dry, and lacked garlic flavor - the biggest disappointment in the order. I’d recommend considering a different shop for more flavorful pizza.

How this place is even still in business is beyond me. I was just scammed by ordering this on Uber Eats and was actually disgusted and appalled. I received a completely uncooked tender, the pizza was probably microwaved and the lettuce in my “salad” (just lettuce and croutons) was brown.
Do not order from this restaurant!
Edit: I see your reply, Owner. Trust me, I wish I read reviews prior to ordering from here because I’d never order from a business with an owner in such a state of denial.
They weren’t two different tenders, unless you consider cooked and uncooked different kinds. Also who charges 7$ for three frozen tenders? Nice value.
A pizza sitting under a warmer doesn’t make it a microwave pizza, the quality does. I hope the owner spends some time looking in the mirror and spends less time trying to fight everyone in these reviews.

If you want to pay $22.50 for a buffalo chicken pizza that you will have a hard time finding any chicken on, then this is the place for you! A better option would be to buy a frozen pizza from the grocery store, at least half the price and probably 4 times the chicken on it. The taste will be the same, believe me. Oh, and the “Caesar Salad”, a poor excuse for a salad that has a few croutons in a bowl of chopped romaine without dressing….that’s right, when you order it online the Caesar dressing is $1 additional and you’ll get a tiny little cup of it that’s hardly enough to wet the lettuce. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

It's been almost 20 years since I had one of Bobby's pies. I can still feel the crunch of biting into a thin slice as the crispy semolina coats my tongue and the sauce singes the roof of my mouth. As long as Bobby owns this joint, you can guarantee your pie will be delicious. You still have the Cougar parked out front Bobby?

Always my favorite . Great pizza. Had a bit of a problem with a recent delivery ordered through an outside service. Best to order direct. Just call. Bob is great and was concerned about my experience. They appreciate their customers.

My wife is pregnant and was craving pizza, and I suggested we try this place out. I grew up in the neighborhood but had never tried it before. I like supporting local family-owned business, so it seemed like a promising choice.
We have a two-year old and he joined us. Unlike other parents we know, we don’t give him iPads or anything. He was on great behavior for a toddler - not running around and screaming, but sitting calmly at the table and playing with his toy car.
The kid did get a little antsy waiting for the pizza and started to touch a sign that was in the window. Before we know it the proprietor starts yelling at our kid to leave it alone. We were in shock and thought it was an act, but he kept it up.
After dinner, our son touched the sign again, and once again the guy goes off, yelling that we should control our kid.
I understand the business owner. He doesn’t want his property to be damaged, and maybe he doesn’t like kids. But surely there’s a more diplomatic way of dealing with the situation?
I’ve been to establishments that know how to treat their guests with kindness. They might offer a child seat, or a kid’s menu and crayons, or just smile and goof around with the kid. But not at Brooklyn Pizza.
My son loves pizza, and we could’ve become regular customers here, but now he’s afraid of the guy behind the register. Poor kid.
