El Torito

We went here for brunch and I was expecting a breakfast burrito and some coffee, boy was I mistaken. When you walked into the restaurant you were greeted, there was coffee and cereal to your left. I don't mean there was a small table of this and a small table of that, it looked like a buffet at the front door. I posted the pics. There was a chef to cook your omelet to order with fresh ingredients to choose from. There was a different chef to cook your breakfast burrito and fresh fruit, not to mention the fresh waffles. I am going to stop talking as they say pictures are worth a thousand words.

I went here on the recommendation of a good friend but will likely not go back. The appeal is the quantity of food more than the quality. We ordered the happy hour tacos but the texture of the meat was not what we expected. Instead of higher quality cuts and chunks of protein we were served something that resembled refried beans. All in all not what we expected. Rumor has it the bottomless mimosas are worth the price of admission on sundays.

I gave it a 3 STAR rating because honestly, EVERYTHING IS SPICY! I had the worst burn do to eating a chili accidentally. The place is good, slightly pricey, however they provide a lot of food on your plate. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Personally, as a Hispanic, I believe that food has its own flavor & when blended together, the meal would be awesome, but they really over do it on the spicy. Sorry, won't come back.

The service here is OK. The food selection is good, but the fajita that I ordered, was the driest fajita that I've ever eaten. My friend ordered the same thing, and she also thought it just wasn't good. I'm giving them 3 stars only because the corn bread was good. But other than that, there's nothing special about this place.
