Paradise Bowls

OH MY! I ordered a medium and wish I had gotten a large. I was only staying in Manhattan Beach for a day and wanted to try an acai bowl. I was super impressed, everything tasted amazing. The service was friendly BUT, there was a wait and it wasn't done in order, so some people came in and went out quicker than I did.

I live right by here, but this is only the 2nd time I have been here since they opened. The 1st time I went, I was hopeful that the food was gonna be good, but it was just ok. Was hoping this time it would be better, but still the same. Tonight I ordered a Greek salad, a shrimp kebab skewer and tzaziki sauce. Placed my order via yelp, which I won't do again because prices are slightly higher and not all the menu items are available. Waited about 20 min before yelp informed me that my order was ready. Headed out and got there in less than 5 min, only to have to wait a bit longer because the lady said she was almost done putting it together. There was one customer ahead of me, so it wasn't a long wait but idk why yelp said it was ready. Anyway, they had a few tables set up outside and one employee was cleaning them off. The lady inside seemed to be the only one putting orders together. They were nice but I probably won't be back. As far as the food, the shrimp skewer was alright, seasoned ok but some parts of them tasted burnt which wasn't very appetizing. One of mine was also broken so I got a bit jipped there. It also wasn't warm, so I know it wasn't made fresh. :( Greek salad was good, but a bit overpriced imo for a small serving. Tzaziki sauce was such a small serving, but oh well. Parking lot is pretty wide open, but the only time you might have trouble is when the Starbucks drive thru is mad crazy and zigzags the lot (which is most days). Might give them another shot but probably not anytime soon.

I got the Chocolate Arc medium sized bowl for around 10 dollars and my girlfriend got the medium sized Gaucho bowl. You definitely get your money's worth because the medium sized bowl is pretty big. I'll probably get mine without honey next time but everything else was amazing. The granola was crunchy and delicious and the smoothie portion at the bottom was amazing. Def recommend.
