The Strand House

I can't really speak to the restaurant venue itself, but the food and hospitality were great. The Strand House distributed meals to healthcare workers (including myself) for Christmas, which was a godsend given how worn out we've been. The system for distributing the meals was efficient, and the employees were very kind. The food was fantastic! We were given turkey, stuffing, salad, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, and bread pudding. The bread pudding was to die for, so if that's on the regular menu, I'll definitely come back for that. None of the food was just basic holiday fare; the dishes were elevated to the level I'd expect of such a fancy restaurant. I was impressed with the home-heating instructions because the food turned out perfectly. If this is what I can expect from to-go meals from The Strand House, I may just come on occasion to treat my girlfriend. To receive such amazing food and hospitality free... What a blessing!

Had a great experience! The food was perfect, everything came out exactly the way we ordered it! Excellent service, very accommodating staff, even during these troubling times with the Coronavirus and social distancing! I definitely recommend going out and enjoying a fine meal there whenever you have the opportunity!

Today was my first time here, the restaurant have a great location over viewing Manhattan Beach, i tried the Sweet Corn shrimp soup it was yummy and full of flavour, and the Spanish grilled octopus it was crispy with crispy corn and slices of potatoes with different sauces, for the main dish I ordered the grill fish with risotto it was great, for dessert I ordered coffee cake with espresso ice cream 👍
