Sonic Drive-in

I went for a cherry limeade with my two dogs in the back. I asked the young lady at the window if they had anything for pups. She pulled a milk one or of her pocket for the girls. Singular best customer service I've ever experienced. When we talk about delighting a customer or looking around corners for customer service this is it. Bless that girl, and bless sonic drive in.

The Riverdale Sonic has maintained their quality of standards throughout the pandemic, unlike many other fast food places. I'm always pleased every time I visit. The food is always fresh, my order is almost always accurate, and they make really good shakes and blasts. The car hops are friendly and they also work really hard to keep the drive thru moving at a reasonable pace.

Nice employees, clean restaurant, service was fast considering how packed the drive thru was. However the drive thru was backed to the street and there were no windows to sit in your car and order like most Sonics. Had to park and go inside and order to go. The shakes were super good like usual with Sonic, they do real shakes. The fries were kinda limp and damp but it was 9pm..I'll cut a break there lol

The icecream and shakes are amazing! The service is usually fast so it is good to order through the app. One issue I have is with the Breakfast Burrito. I wish they would do something with the tortilla other than take it out the package. I ordered a SuperSonic Breakfast Burrito this weekend and it was like a soggy hotdog bun and you have to peel it out the wrapper. It definitely didn't look SuperSonic anything. I think if the prices are going to be a bit higher then produce the same results with the food. If you don't edit the burrito you will get a handful and I mean a large handful of online and jalapenos inside. Since it is SuperSonic put more meat and egg in. I took my burrito, because again not SuperSonic, home and placed it in the air fryer. It was so much better than that soggy tortilla with the wrapper that was sticking to it. I peeled that mess off and placed it in foil that does not have paper on the other side, to enjoy it.

I like the aesthetics of this restaurant, but the hostess that took my order was not pleasant. The day before I had ordered a meal special and was informed (very abruptly) that the special ends at 11 a.m. I told them that it was only 11:08 and the lady said, " it's a breakfast special..." as if Sonics doesn't serve breakfast all day. I may visit this Sonic if we're headed to JD, but I won't go out of my way for the luxury of sitting on the inside of this restaurant.
