The Dam House

This was a wonderful find on a Saturday afternoon! Every weekend they have a different food on vendor. I love "Mary's Arepas" food, they are normally at the Soda City Market on the Saturdays. Check them out on FB to follow weekly locations. Arepa's are a type of food made of ground maize dough, originating from the northern region of South America in pre-Columbian times, and is notable in the cuisines of Colombia and Venezuela. I had the chicken Arepa with onions, tomatoes sauce and its was Delish!!!! I would order two, you will want a extra to take home for sure. The customer service at THE DAM House was professional, the owner was really nice and explained to me what they offer. They are open Thurs, Fri, Sat. Located right off the Hwy going toward Lake Murray, easy find. They have food, outdoor tables music, and a bar of course! Plenty of free parking. Great place to have a hang out, listen to music and chill! Yes I highly recommend everyone check them out. And it gives you a chance to try out a new food truck.

I stopped by here a couple of weeks ago, because on the weekends they invite different food trucks and or food vendors. It's just a relaxing and chill stop, just on the south side of the Lexington dam. Their conveniently located right on North Lake Road, and they have a private parking lot which can accommodate small and large vehicles. This is a hidden gem in Lexington and I'm positive that we will be back in near future.
