Has been a long time family favorite of ours, I remember coming here as a kid as a treat on Saturdays or Sundays. And we're lucky it's just a few blocks down from the house,so glad the Original Glass Kitchen stayed open for business,while the others closed around town. Great burgers,fries,onion rings...and a family pack that feeds 4 with a drink included,can't go wrong with that! Truly a Laredo staple,a must see and must eat when one visits the Gateway City!!!
Still one of the best burgers and fries hands down in town!!

Walked in and restaurant was clean, restroom were restocked and temperature was comfortable on a sunny day. I ordered the Big Burger Basket not bad price for about five bucks, parents had the picadillo tacos and fresh. I love the homemade freshly cut french fries, cashier was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back to this old glass kitchen, only one in Laredo and definitely still carrying the tradition of a good tasting Burger!

Wow! This is the definition of Mom and Pop restaurant. When we approached, I could smell the good food outside. Most people order from the window, but my party of four went inside. When asked what was good, the lady said that everything was good. She was funny and sassy.
We ordered a LOT of food as the food was cheap and we wanted to try a little of everything. Wow! Amazing food!!!! (I got their special of hot cheetos and melted cheese. You could pass on that.) The burgers were good. The fries were good. Everything about this place screams wholesome.

A little hole in the wall type place. The burger was pretty good. The fries were a bit on the soggy side which aren't my cup of tea. The onion rings were pretty good. Overall I'd recommend it

First timer, posting about this place. Ordering was quick although their dining space looked small and was completely filled. The food was being served pretty fast but decided to eat in the shaded area in my car. LOVED the onion rings with my Burger meal.

Glass Kitchens is a signature restaurant of Laredo since 1951. Long considered one of the best if not the best hamburgers in town. Meat patties are still made by hand. The burgers never disappoint, are delicious and made to your liking. Oh those succulent onion rings. The bbq burger is just as delicious. Many of the loyal customers often order a big burger basket and a taco on the side. Did I mention the tasty onion rings! Just before you walk out, order one of the thickest shakes in South Texas. Good eats!

The best burger in town my first memory of a drive in is when my parents took us to Glass Kitchen. We all looked forward to getting our own bag with fries and an amazing hamburger. When I first took my kids it was magical.

To start several Dinning tables were Dirty. French fries were small in size and Greasy. I had to use napkins to remove the excess oil. Sometimes the Onion rings are over cooked and Dry. Needs more working personnel.
