First of all, I'm a Laredoan with a strong Mexican heritage, said that I know that my foundations to write this review are well based. I have been several occasions at this particular Mexican Restaurant, with different type of people, but none of them with Mexican background. The place itself reminds me pretty much of my culture; that and the fact that I can't give them a ZERO rating, make the place earn their ONE start rating. Other than the looks and name, the place has nothing that I can say just like Mexico. We as Mexicans specially in restaurants treat our costumers with such different manners, we make them feel special, like of they were part of our family or home; we show the best of our culture specially in our customer service and savory food. The customer service there really needs some attention, the manager at the bar section couldn't came out with something else than a saggy excuse and an apology, wishing me to go back so I can get treated right!!?!? REALLY??? How come you want me to go back and take out-of-town people to your restaurant when I ask for a damn margarita and just because the shift have change I waited more than 30 min and my margarita never came. Just because we had close our tab? but that does not mean that we have leaving the facility, we were still your guest and actually $140dlls + costumers; and you should have assigned somebody else for our service. I been a waiter myself and I'm a customer service rep. and this place to me is lacking a lot of attention towards this particular issue I been there several times like i said before and it is pretty much the same deal. The prices are way to high, for the food that actually does not even taste like real mexican food; and the customer service does not even get close to the type of customer service a real mexican place would provide. You want some real special treatment and real Mexican Food go to El Meson de San Agustin and for a pretty good price they would make feel like in a authentic Mexican Restaurant environment.

To finish we left the place and until today I have not stepped on that unpleasant place and I will never do it again (Original) Este lugar apesta, el servicio al cliente es pesimo, los meseros tienen mas poder que la gerencia, hace algunos meses mi hermana y yo llevamos a nuestra Madre para que se tomara unas margaritas ya que mi Padre tenia poco de have rfallecido y queriamos que se despejara su mente, pues resulta que solo habia una mesa en la parte de afuera y el assistant manager nos hiba a dar la mesa pero se acerco un mesero y le dijo que la tenia separada, al momento note que no tenia ningun papel que dijera que estaba reservada ni nada por el estilo, lo cual le deje saber a el manager el cual se lo dijo a el mesero pero este le hablo mal a el manager y este se encojio de brazos y nos dojo que si no queiamos una mesa adentro lo cual le respondi que no que nosotros queriamos una mesa afueera por eso mismo habiamos hido a ese lugar, el manager todo acongojado no sabia que hacer, cuando mi hermana le pregunta que quien era el mesero el o el otro muchacho a lo que contesto que el era el asst. manager nosotros nos comensamos a reir y mi hermana le dice que desde cuando los patos le disparan a los casadores. Para terminar nos fuimos de el lugar y hasta el dia de hoy no he vuelto a pisar ese desagradable lugar y jamas lo hare
