Erik's Cafe Bar

Perfect place to have breakfast if you are not part of the all-inclusive, half board, bed and breakfast club. The wait staff are good, the servings are more then enough for a good fill. Straight forward fry ups but taste great. I will say though if you visit Eriks Bar in the late evening, the singular wait staff can get overrun by customers when busy.

De lo mejor de Costa Teguise, una variedad infinita de ricos y gustosos platos, los empleados una maravilla simpáticos, educados, los zumos están riquísimos, abre pronto 8:30, luego tiene la cocina abierta continuamente, también dispone de TV con canales internacionales. Esta al lado de la Playa de la cuchara y cerca de tiendas. 100% recomendable. Buenos precios a los que hay que añadir el 7% de IGIC que es una especie de IVA reducido. Cumple con todos los protocolos de seguridad. La foto es de una visitante muy graciosa, que es genial 😁 😉 y viene a desayunar con los clientes. Sigue igual o mejor que el año pasado. Un placer volver a reencontrarnos.

We found this place having walked out of another place ( which I won't name, but has good reviews), down the street because the owner/ waiter was so scruffy. We ate there five times. Three times for a breakfast, which was really brunch and twice in an evening. We fancied something different to spicy foods. The no1 breakfasts were good. In the evenings we had nice tuna salad, grilled tuna ( the waiter was concerned that it might be dry when I asked for it well done, but it was just right for me), Spanish omelette and tuna jacket potato. The jacket potato wasn't warm enough, but it was soon rectified. All the food was good and good value. I discovered that they stocked some decent bottled beers which made a nice change from fizzy lager. The service varied depending on which staff were on duty. One was a bit surly, and was asked sarcastically by a customer " do you not enjoy your job". The others were really helpful. The owner's dog isn't to all customers liking.
