When you come here you know exactly what you're going to get! They show you your order before you leave! And to top it off the food is absolutely perfect! Always hot and fresh! You have to pay extra for bread if you want it (.50), I would pass on that next time! But the staff here is always kind and friendly. This is a very comfortable and welcoming place!!! Love it!!! ✋

The gumbo was delicious and unlike any I have had elsewhere. A light-colored roux with crazy ingredients. Three chicken wings, sausage, shrimp, corn on the cob and potato. Messy to eat, but worth the trouble. I will be going back to try a different dish. Service was attentive, but the food takes a few minutes to prepare. The dining room is utilitarian.

Fish City in Grandview used to be my favorite fish joint but they got a little stingy in the last couple of years. Now I only do my fried fish takeout with Charlie D's. Always 🔥.
And always heavy portions.

This is one of my favorites spots for fish to go. Because the fish is fire. In my opinion the shrimp is not really good. But the side dishes are great. So although I don’t like the shrimp they still get my 5 stars.

Yall and I did say yall cuz I'm country but this food is BUSSIN that means GOOD. I had the whole catfish and I enjoyed every but of it. The sweet potatoes were ok and the potato salad could use some work but the fish is good.

Food is well worth the wait. It is not a fast food place so it takes awhile to get your food. Everyone is super friendly and the wide variety of sandwiches taste amazing.

While I cant speak to the overall services of this place, as we had it catered in for a team lunch, I can speak to the food itself! This did not dissapoint! The chicken wings were crispy and still full of flavor. The mashed potatos and gravy also paired perfectly with it! I would reccomend this place to anyone, and would love to dine again, maybe visit the etablishment next time!

Was pretty hot in there,I like that you can I order certain spice levels, I got a pound of catfish for just me and that was a lot but the pound doesn't come with sides so I paid extra for the sides and didn't know it,so I recommend the 3/4pound which is a good amount and you get 2 sides with it.

It's been years since I've been to a Charlie D's and I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was sooo good. I've tasted the shrimp po boy in New Orleans and it didn't taste this good. It did not disappoint. I will definitely be back and the customer service was great.

Had a shrimp po boy with fries. Ab. So. Lute. Ly. De. Lish. Essssss.
I asked if they normally season the fries and she affirmed they do. I don't care for the seasoning typically used on fries so I asked if they could just do plain, lightly salted. She said of course, and everything was just perfect.
Wonderful friendly service with a beautiful smile. I will be back to try something else on the menu and I can't wait!
