冰好吃! Experience an authentic Bing (shaved ice), Taiwan-style, in Hawaii. Best in Hawaii. My small mountain of ice was itself flavored and shaved to perfection; no need for syrup. This is like nothing you’ve seen in America before: light, flakey, flavorful, melts in your mouth. I’ve only had it this way in Taiwan; and Ice Monster has it down. I make sure to go here every day I am in Honolulu.

Ice Monster is an absolute gem in Hawaii! My visit to this spot was nothing short of amazing. The "Monster Fresh Mango Sensation" I ordered was not only delicious but also a work of art. It's evident that the staff here takes great pride in their creations. What truly stood out for me was the consistent excellence of their offerings. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that Ice Monster lived up to its stellar reputation. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was top-notch. It's no surprise that there are so many glowing reviews for this place. If you're in Hawaii, do not miss out on Ice Monster. The flavors, presentation, and overall experience make it a must-visit destination. I'll be back for more delightful treats, that's for sure!

Even when I went late at night, this place had plenty of business. My mom had told me about this place being popular and, being the fan of desserts that I was (and still am), I gave it a try. My selection was a large serving of the Fresh Mango Sensation. It included a hearty serving of mango shaved ice, a scoop of mango sorbet, panna cotta, and fresh mango and the store’s mangosauce. I found this to be incredibly refreshing. The dessert was plenty sweet and had no shortage of fruity flavor. I rarely have panna cotta for dessert but I found this to be pretty creamy without compromising its solid structure. I won’t lie, this dessert was pricy (over $15). That said, I was in Hawaii on vacation; an opportune moment to splurge. If you ever visit Honolulu, this would be a must visit to satisfy your sweet tooth.

We came here twice during our 7-day stay. We had the matcha shaved ice during our first visit (as recommended by the sweetest uncle at the cashier) and my husband & I — both matcha lovers — agree that it was the best shaved ice we’ve ever had 🤯 We came back a second time for their best seller (mango flavour) and while it wasn’t my favourite, it tasted very fresh. I love how the flavours are in the ice itself and not poured over like the typical shaved ice.
