Sonic Drive-in

I am just sad about the service and food at the local fast food places. I understand all the stuff going on has an effect on things. But if people just took a little pride in trying to do a good job not just collect a check/tips, everyone now days wants a tip even for just standing there and pushing numbers. Tips are a "reward" for good service. There is so much self satisfaction in doing a good job. As for the food! I really can't say much. Tots were so over cooked greasy and luke warm I only ate two, hoping the one was just a left over. The corn dog batter was hard on one side. And what happened to the size of the dog? Price is still there, a bit higher even, but the dog got smaller. I have learned not to really bring this to anyone's attention because I have worked in food service and you never know what you will get when you complain about food. Also attitudes these days, no one really cares.

Horrible, horrible, service. We arrived after the ability to order trough the app, so we pressed the button and waited to order. We sat and waited 20 minutes to even order. We finally ordered, and waited another 15 minutes for our food to arrive. There were maybe 8 cars in total at this location, and many, I assume were having the same issues cause people were just leaving without receiving food. We heard nothing about possible excessive wait times or issues with their system. We just wish they would have informed us of any short staff or system malfunction so we could have left and gone elsewhere. Donna delivered our food and was SUPER sweet. That was the only benefit of going there. We haven’t even looked at our order fully, so hopefully it’s right. Edit: Our order was wrong. Only half of the mozzarella sticks had cheese in them. Drinks we got weren’t even the flavors we ordered. Cheese tots we got had no cheese on them. This is up there with top worst experiences with fast food restaurants.

Mozzarella cheese sticks were cooked until the cheese fell out of more than one, then the hollow sticks and melted cheese were jammed into their carton and glued themselves together. Tater tots were under cooked. They did not have a crunchy outer layer, they were soft and mushy and came out of the carton in one big ball of crumbly mush. And the corn dog was burnt and dried out. My son said his hamburger was "ok, but not great". Half of the popcorn chicken was too hard to chew. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Horrible experience. Just left there ordered 3 burgers fries and sodas. All 3 burgers were cold (tasted like they made 50 burgers at one time and let it sit in a tray for hours. The cheese didn't even melt. It had that horrible beef flavor that tasted like when you reheat ground meat. What a waste of $27.00.. I will never go back.

Absolutely horrid experience. 833pm order, and to my window at 930pm 5/2/22. Never seen a fast food joint take 1 hour to deliver food. Cold burgers, cold fries, something crunchy in my coney dog (which was also cold), wrong drinks, all ice melted before drinks made it to car window. Absolute disgrace.
