We found café botanico via Tripadvisor and we thought we'd try it out. As I speak Spanish it wasn't necessary to use English but the staff does speak English and they're really nice. The food was amazing and of really good quality. If you're looking for a cheap or quick bite I don't think this is the place to be although they do offer a free tapa with your drink and they're delicious. A meal is around 12-14€ at night and during the day they have a 3 course menu drink included for €12,50. They use fresh products and their dishes are very varied and just so good. The dishes are special and it's fusion so they're Spanish recipes with a modern twist. I had a zucchini and leak soup with a drizzle of chocolate sauce once and it was mind blowing. Normally I wouldn't ordered something like this but we thought "why not, after all everything else had been amazing"
We ate here all three days we we're in Granada and we will definitely return here when we're in Granada again.
We loved everything about cafe botánico and we thank the staff!
Best choice in central Granada for a drink and a bit of food. The staff in this amazing bar absolutely rock! Waiting staff who keep their eyes open and look around, so nobody is left wanting for anything. Service is quick, helpful and wonderfully warm and friendly. A barman, with extensive knowledge of all the drinks, who is more than happy to give recommendations. Chefs who prepare imaginative, delicious dishes without delay.
The variety of food is extremely impressive. Two or three tasty tapas is like having a small meal.
One thing that stands out here, compared to many local places, is that they don't try to operate with a skeletal staff. There is always somebody around to look after you. Drinks arrive quickly. Food arrives all lovely and fresh and warm. There is a great atmosphere in this place and the team working here must take the credit for this. A marvellous place to spend a few hours any time of day.
Botanico is amazing. My friends and I are studying abroad in Granada for the month of June, so we have tried lots of restaurants- and this by far is my favorite. There are full separate menus in English, French, and Spanish (maybe more, but these are the ones that we had at our table). The waitstaff were friendly, helpful, and the manager spoke english well. But these are minor things compared to the food- the food was divine. Fresh, delicious, well prepared. I had a ravioli in a lemon sauce that was sweet and savory and fantastic. I have one more week in Granada and will be going back.
Every person in my party thought there food was one of the best dishes they have had in Spain. We ordered a round of desserts and they were good, not as impressive as the dinner, but still good. At any other place we might have raved about them- but not after such a fantastic meal.
I cannot recommend this restaurant strongly enough.
Friendly staff with menus in English. It's across the street from a nice little botanical garden. We shared a nice green salad, pasta and two types of Spanish wine.
Excelente food! We had the daily menu. Soup/salad, main course, and desert for€12! Every plate was very well prepare and great portion. One person in our group had the risotto and it was delicious.

Repetiremos pronto.
