Excellent from top to bottom. Classic Catalan dishes with an Asian twist. We did the tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was outstanding making me want more. I think the wine pairing was good but could be elevated to match the food. Highly recommend a visit.

Experience of a lifetime - Heaven on Earth I booked this Restaurant for lunch to celebrate our 22nd Wedding Anniversary after reading the amazing reviews on-line. We had the Gourmet Menu with the pairing wines, which we can highly recommend. The flavours within the dishes were exquisite and the wines accompanied them perfectly. Pere Massana is an artistic culinary genius and a credit to his profession. Thankfully he is passing his skills on to his younger son. The customer service & information we received from the front of house team, consisting of his wife Ana, charming elder son Eduard, Dariela and the sommelier David was professional, friendly, warm and knowledgable. We had the best all round experience we have ever had in our lives at this sensational Restaurant. We will be back with friends & family in the future, along with recommending this jewel of a Restaurant in Girona. Personally I think you all deserve 3 Michelin stars (the most available). The only way we can sum up the overall experience is "Heaven on Earth". What we also both liked was the humble, understated manner of everyone at the Restaurant, even Pere took time out from the kitchen to visit our table to ensure we were enjoying our meal. This is a wonderful family run Restaurant with a truly professional team taking the time and making the effort to ensure you the paying customer gets the best food, beverages & services. It is expensive, but you only live once and everyone should at least eat here once in their lifetime, as it is the experience of a lifetime.

We had their tasting menu in May, when we stayed in Girona. Wonderful dishes, with interesting flavours and textures. All artfully arranged on the plate. We especially enjoyed the 'scrambled eggs' dessert. Service was good and attentive but a little standoffish. Recommended!! Read more on our blog : chocolatehunters
