40s themed? Clearly this is a tourist tap. This restaurant is dirty, rude service, slow service, with random old pages from magazines on the Wall. Took 15 minutes to get menu, another 10 for coffee, then another 30 for our meals, all accompanied by eye rolls and plates dropped carelessly on our table. In the end it's all about the food. Great food can makeup for bad service. However that will not be the case here... How you manage the screw up bacon and pancakes is beyond me. Both tasted like a mixture of metal and bbq grime. My only hope at this point is that I do not get food poisoning. Then with all that did, you would think this would be a cheap place to eat. Maybe since they saved money by hiring rude people and lousy ingredients? You would l also be wrong. $22 for 2 platters of pancakes with 2 burnt pieces of bacon. We were the only people in the restaurant for what anywhere else would have been the morning breakfast rush. This place is clearly avoided by locals, I suggest you do the same.

The food is decent but the atmosphere is what makes this spot nice. It reminds me of going to my grandmothers home for breakfast and having friendly conversations with strangers. The staff was kind and they have lots of pride in their family restaurant. Their walls are decorated with family achievements and it's great.

Customer Service SUCKS! I can't believe the owner was very unprofessional and petty! My boyfriend brought the menu outside for me to take a look before I placed my order. The owner came outside and acted a fool about a menu! Unbelievable! No excuses for acting a fool about a freaky menu! The food is delicious but customer service is more important to me! The worse part..it's the owner that keeps customers away! NEVER AGAIN!

This place has the worst customer service that I have EVER had! The owner is very, very rude and unprofessional! I called in to place an order. After I have placed my whole order, he hung up on me saying "you gonna have to come in because I couldn't hear you." He did not once say, could you please repeat yourself. Do NOT go there if you want pleasant service. The food is good though.
