Nice little beer hall, chill, with music playing in the background. The sec championship is on both projectors, but the sound is off, so maybe not exactly a sports bar. Apparently the chef cut himself, so no food to review tonight.
The bartender Mallory was lovely to chat with, and the beer selection was great. If mother's sounds too fratty and loud, you might prefer this place.

This is one of the best craft beer bars in Gainesville! Great experience. Bartenders very friendly and knowledgeable. Great prices on beers. They always have newest and best selections. Perfect spot for a big group of friends!!

Amazing atmosphere and beer selection! If you want good beer in Gainesville, this is the place. The owner Alex was SO personable, knowledgeable, and really added to the experience. Service was great, the dill pickle popcorn was awesome, and I will definitely visit again!

The bar is clean and it smells nice inside and the bathroom is clean and well stocked. My fiancé and I came in on the 4th of July. It was quiet but Alex behind the bar was lively! He let us taste all the beers we were interested in and he let us quiz him on the beer menu. His beer knowledge is really impressive and we had a great time. I am sure this place gets much busier than it is tonight, and we look forward to adding to the business.

Lived here for 8 years - House Of Beer is a great bar. Relaxed environment, great for grabbing a drink and catching up with a friend. Alex does a great job of curating an enjoyable experience. Good beer collection! Shoutout to the doorman, Charles In Charge. Very helpful with a broken glass and attentive to helping some dehydrated travelers to much needed water.

I recently visited Gainesville, Florida and had an opportunity to spend some time at House of beers. They have a wide variety of options to choose from. They also allow you to order in food from outside the establishment. All the staff were friendly and cool. They have a very interesting Rewards program for their regulars. If you're looking for a craft beer options definitely check this place out.
