Are you a foodie? Then you must try Maaza 29. I go there primarily for Ethiopian Tidbits and my injera cravings. But the European cuisine is outta this world as well. The Osso Buco was insanely delish! It was accompanied by the BEST risotto I have ever had in America and maybe even Italy. It was so good, my family has voted it a must to get every time we order even if we eat later. The lamb lollipops and chicken wings are to die for. Beef short rib ragu is another absolutely delicious entree. I could go on but long story short, all their entrees and apps are gastronomic wonders of the world. Wine list and cocktails are amazing and accompany the food well! They even deliver! So stop reading my post and go try Maaza 29. You will thank me!

Hands down the BEST food in Gainesville, VA! From the Duck to the Steak, the Shrimp and the wine selection. If you are a wine person GO HERE!!! You can even become a member and they do social hours every month!! Also they have Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches, which are hard to find in the area! best place for a date or just a drink. Very quiet atmosphere and incredible service! They even have Karaoke on Wednesday!

Made to order menu items! Always fresh and delicious. The Eggplant Parmesan is one you've never had anywhere else. It creates friends of eggplant. Our usual app is the Potato Sambusa which is spicy if you drag it in the special sauce, which we do! Maaza 29 has The Southern Belle Red Blend wine that pairs perfectly with the majority of their dishes. The Awaze Tibs, Gnocchi Bolognese, the Steak Frites, and the Chicken & Shrimp Piccata are also delightful. You can be stuffed to the max and not feel regret!! Dessert...special cookie ice cream sandwiches.

Good food. Knowledgeable and attentive staff without being intrusive. Our waitress helped us select entrees which worked well with our food sensitivities. The chef made small - but significant to us - changes in food preparation to accommodate our gluten and lactose sensitivities. The result: a meal we enjoyed very much without feeling uncomfortable. Great value for the price too!
