Louisiana Fried Chicken

Amazing family owned and operated restaurant. They serve juicy, crispy, and tender fried chicken as well as delicious Chinese fast food. This spot is my absolute favorite fast Chinese food and is unrivaled when hot and fresh. They also have a tasty nugget and fries basket for any little ones that may be picky eaters.

Have you ever wanted fried chicken and Chinese food but couldn’t make up your mind? Well this is the spot for you. Not sure if I just just came at a good time or I ordered the right items, but we enjoyed every part of our meal. Ordered the 3 piece fried chicken with cole slaw and a 3 item Chinese combo with teriyaki chicken, bbq pork, spicy pork ribs, rice and chow mein. To start, the fried chicken was fresh and delicious. The batter had a little kick living up to the Louisiana name. The cole slaw and bread were pretty basic and needed a little work, but really wasn’t the star of the meal anyway. As for the Chinese dishes, for a fast food restaurant the food was good to really good. I guess one thing anyone should do when ordering from a steam table is look for fresher dishes when ordering. If it looks old, dry or over cooked avoid it and try something else. Fortunately everything I liked looked like it was recently refreshed in the steam table. The ribs were the stand out, but i liked the bbq pork as well. The rice and noodles were tasty too, but the chow mein was a bit on the oily side. Not a big issue if you mix with rice or have small portions.
