La Terraza Mexican Grill

La Terraza is an excellent options for Mexican food in west Columbia. We just went to our second visit there and was not disappointed. Service was quick and accurate. I asked for additional spicy salsa and was provided two different ones. Our steak burrito and polo ranchero were delicious and flavorful. Restaurant was clean, staffs were friendly.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Columbia. The staff is wonderful! The salsa is the best I've had at a Mexican restaurant, perfect amount of spice to flavor ratio, chips are great. I have not had a bad meal there and I've been there quite a few times now. I highly, HIGHLY recommend you try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed. They have some dishes you won't find at other Mexican restaurants and that is definitely a plus because it helps the restaurant to stand out from others and it offers a broader range of dishes from which to choose. They also have a tortillaria and you can watch them make homemade tortillas in house. This place has it all.

Aside from the fact it took Uber Eats an hour and a half to deliver my food, I would not order from here again. $5 for a small tub of guac that wasn't even filled to the top, small tub of salsa and greasy chips. The Papa Flautas we stuffed with breakfast potatoes, and tasted like they were left over from well, breakfast. Plus, they were soggy and not appetizing. And they drizzled chocolate sauce all over the churros when logic dictates sauce of the side. Never again!

Pretty good if you are on stadium. My fajitas were HUGE, and came with a ton of great tortillas (corn or flour), but all of the meat was tough and dry and poorly seasoned. My wife's burrito came with a generous amount of queso, but the meat inside was also dry and tough and overall the portion was rather stingy for the price. Service was very good. Waitress was on the ball and the manager checked up on us as well.

My family has been eating at La Terraza ever since it was in Peach tree Plaza. Tonight was our last time. The food is always good but the service has fallen horribly. On top of it all I was overcharged. In fact, the service has been poor the last several times we have been there. I suspect our business will not be missed by anyone at La Terraza. I will find another restaurant that really values their customers.
