K & J Seafood was our chosen lunch spot, and boy, were we in for a treat! The culinary craftsmanship on display here is truly remarkable. Nothing was over-seasoned, and nothing was under-seasoned; every dish danced with a symphony of flavors that tantalized the taste buds. The seafood loaded fries were a revelation, a glorious combination of crispy fries generously adorned with a bountiful seafood medley. Really loved the food we purchased. My favorite by far was the shrimp poboy sandwich. It was so good and the sauce was poppin. A must try! We also had the fried lobster tail and the ramen noodle, shrimp sausage boill and Madi Gras Lemonade. Will definitely be going back to try more items. We drove an hour to this place and we were not disappointed.

Ms. Iesha is a true gift!! Her welcoming smile, courteous and professional demeanor, and the light in her eyes as she described the various, sumptuous menu items made the visit well worth it! The Creole flair and generous portions at reasonable prices ensures we WILL be returning here again soon!! Joy is also a sweetheart. Her speed and efficiency in preparing our order was phenomenal. This hidden gem in Avondale is bringing a much needed alternative to typical seafood boil. The Bearcat boil for the non-seafood connesoir is a definite Hit!! Would give 10 stars if possible!!

I loooove seafood so I was very happy to hear this place opened up. I had the seafood fries and they are the bomb! It has a tasty cheese sauce, crab, shrimp and bacon. Update: I will say they have changed over the years, and they have moved to a new location, depending on who you get on the phone you might get someone that has an attitude, the last time I tried to call and make a order the girl just hung up right in my face, after I said thank you.
