Ladles Soups

Perfect for a quick bite to eat while Tesla charging - it’s an 8-10 min walk but worth it. All of the soups are amazing and made in house, with 8oz portions under 200 calories, some well under, but not sacrificing flavor one bit. We also did the Ladles Grilled Cheese, which came with bacon and tomato, and it was fast and delicious. The chicken salad on greens, with the house balsamic vin, was the perfect compliment to the meal. Margie, whose sister started the restaurant chain in Charleston SC, got us samples of all of the soups so that we could narrow it down for our three soup sampler. Say hi if you go in - she’s very friendly and proud of the soup she makes by hand!

First time going while visiting from out of town. Was skeptical at first from their online menu. Went there and had 12 soups to choose from. Was great! Loved every spoonful. Roll was fresh and good too. Staff was excellent. Offered samples, explained things. Highly recommend. Wish I had one in Kansas City

I love going here for their soup and sandwiches and this time was better than ever ... I ordered a whole grilled cheese with extra buttery and a bowl tomato parmesan soup. Everything was exactly as I ordered it ... for those of you who know me well, you know that is a rarity for that to happen. Awesome place for a nice quiet lunch and friendly people. If you have never tried them you should really check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Really good place for soups and sandwiches. I go there often. Looked Turkey Chilli soup. I have tried many sandwiches have not been disappointed. First time i went ordered half sandwich and bowl of soup and it was double the food I could ear. I will go with half sandwich and cup of soup. Plus they.let you try soup if you want which is a plus as that way you can taste before buying.

The service was outstanding here, giving us the details on everything on the menu, how combine different options and where the shrimp came from for the delicious shrimp bisque. The portions were perfect and the price was just right. This will definitely be a common go-to for a quick and healthy meal!

Good soup and sandwiches and they let you sample anything you want beforehand. They have Vegan Friday every week with a different vegan sandwich and soup special and they're always great. And they have good vegetarian and vegan options all week too. The staff is always very welcoming and I've always left a happy customer!

As you can probably guess, this place serves soup. What you might not know is how many other food items they have, or how good the quality is. I have been here twice and had a half soup and sandwich and each time been impressed! They have a large assortment of things from salads to burgers and even hot dogs. I have not tried any of these things yet but would not be surprised if they were excellent. Everything is made fresh day of (even their pesto)! The best part is that you can sample the soups before you buy them. This is great, especially considering they have special soups of the day. They have friendly staff and even offer to clean up the trays after you. I consider this place to be a step above panera for a similar price. They also have free bread rolls of many different varieties ( I got Rosemary ) that come with your soup! All in all, this is my new place to get soup!
