This is the epitome of the family run Italian restaurants that I remember in New York. Right down to the iceberg lettuce house salads and baskets of Italian bread. The lasagna is delicious and their red sauce is excellent. They have great specials also. My favorite is their sampler special with a large meatball, manicotti and lasagna. Good wine selection and very friendly staff.

Do not let the appearance fool you. The food was fantastic. Went here with my father for lunch, we loved it. We got a little history about the place from the owner. The food is made from scratch. The prices were VERY reasonable, highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Campanello's. The prices are very reasonable. I had the Chicken Masala, it was delicious. The team of Dustin and Mary Ann worked very hard for us, service was good, though it appeared they may need more servers. My wife and I love Mom and Pop cooking, quiet surroundings. The back room filled all of our needs. Campanello's is a place we will return to again.

Oh my, this was our first time there, but totally NOT the last. The atmosphere was lovely, the service impeccable, the staff friend and warm, and the food devine!!! It was in every way like having dinner with family and Mom wouldn't sit and eat herself because she was making sure everyone else was fed and happy.
As if that whole experience wasn't already perfect, the homemade Tiramisu for desert was heavenly!!!
We will so be back!!!

My husband lived in Germany when in the Army and loves German food. However living in ND we don't have authentic German resturants. This place was suggested by staff at our hotel and we have to say very glad we came. From the time we walked in, until we left the service was very good. We all enjoyed our meal...

The food is authentic and delicious!!! The atmosphere is not fancy but the friendliness of the owner, chef, and wait staff make up for the old decor. I've never had anything there that was less than scrumptious including the homemade bread! Be sure to save room for the cannoli....fantastic!!!

My Fiance and I went there after the car show looking for a great meal. The smells coming from the restaurant enticed us to enter. Looking in the window it looks like the little family type restaurant that normally has genuine Italian food. We were not disappointed!!! Mary Ann and Nick welcomed us like family! The food was delicious and we cant wait to go back again!!

Nice selection of Italian food, including spumoni. Good tasting and inexpensive lunch portions. I had the lasagna and it was good. The restaurant itself definitely has that old school look. Could benefit the restaurant to update the inside a bit, but it's not a deal breaker. Will try again.

My buddy and I drove an hour from Lexington just to have dinner here. The husband and wife that own the restaurant treated us like family. I had the sampler and without question it was some of the most amazing Italian food I've ever eaten. So clean, light and flavorful.
