Paddy's Lunch

The bulk of the old gathering places are gone. The Mexican place between Porter and Harvard which actually Did serve excellent food but really was a sit at the bar "hey Joe howya been" Charles then renovated (keeping the inexplicable fake glowing orange logs up near the ceiling) the table near the exit where soup was given to the needy . The double doors that created a vortex of wind that made opening to the street nigh impossible & the greatest pile of charcoal broiled pork chops I'll ever have. Emeraude spray for a quarter gone. The Irish working area gentrified with a vengeance leaving Paddy's an oasis. You'll drive past it. No lunch

I went to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. It was my first time there, but defiantly won’t be my last. The place was packed. I was the only African American woman there, no one knew me, but I felt like I had just walked in to Cheers you know the place we’re everybody knows you name 😁. Everyone was super friendly and I really had a blast. Can’t wait to go back and chat it up with Ruth the owner.
