Good food. Did not have to wait too long. Restaurant mostly remains empty. The spring rolls were excellent. Egg fried rice was okay.

Very authentic and delicious Chinese food. My friend and I ordered two stir-fried dishes. Later I learnt that the owner is from Harbin, the northernmost city in China, and they do Harbin dishes which are not commonly seen outside China.

It is not your typical posh Chinese but the food is absolutely authentic. Reasonable price. Uncle Wang doesn't speak English but is one of the best cook around.

Probably one of the cheapest Chinese restaurants/takeaways in Cambridge. Good portion too!
One downside is that the wait time can be very very long if you go in during busy hours.
(updated Oct 2018) Lan Hong House was sold to a new owner, restaurant had been closed over the last few months, disappointed.
