Lovely location of this pub. Super handy for the train station (though there are two lovely pubs just outside it). But disappointed in the atmosphere (none) and the service. Warm wine. I declined the ice in my wine (?) not realising it was offered because the wine was room temperature. The beer was also tepid.

Went to the attached pub to take an online meeting and order drinks afterwards only to get kicked out by an extremely rude bartender who couldn't understand why I hadn't ordered after sitting for 20 minutes. I will not be taking my business here again, which is a shame because I quite liked the place.
Staff were lovely and friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Nice extra touches when we first got in the room such as complimentary toiletries, ear plugs and sweets. Only negative was the bathroom had mould on the ceiling but this didn't affect or stay.
