Cousins Subs

Was looking for a place for lunch to bring a customer of mine. Thought I would try this place out as I have heard good things. COVID protocols were followed on entering. Was sat at my table and waited for my customer to show up. Noticed only one server working during lunch hour? As she passed by I asked If I could order a drink while I waited and she quickly just said give me a second… Took a little while for her to finally come over. I get it she was the only one working but no need to be snippy. Finally came over and I ordered drinks with calamari which felt very rushed. I didn’t realize there was a choice of sauce with it and was never asked which one I would like so I was just given one. The Calamari ended up being pretty good I must say. A sprinkle of lemon just made it pop! I then ended up having the lemon pepper wings for my main. They were phenomenal to be honest. Best lemon pepper wings I think I have ever had! And I eat out a lot with customers! The space was nice, clean and inviting. Would have been five stars with better service.

While the service was good, I found the food to be very underwhelming. The bruschetta is more like a flatbread and there were barely any toppings on it so it was pretty flavourless. The cauliflower bites were alright, definitely not the best I've had and the price was a little much for what you get. Unfortunately, I would not return.
