Second time this has happened. I’ve been to this restaurant several times and the quality is sub par. It just continues to decline. I paid over $10 for a corned beef/roast beef sub and there was maybe $1-2 worth of meat on the sub. Forget this place! It’s definitely not like it use to be.

Best burger ever. Homemade fries and every ingredient are fresh and a great size. I really recommend everyone to come and try the burgers here.

We frequently stop in for lots of there menu items. I do love the sub 🥪 sandwiches, I usually get roast beef. 😋 the fries are delicious too! Stop in, you won't ever be disappointed

I used to live in oak lawn and we ate here all the time. Became a family tradition. I no longer live there but visit often and we ALWAYS stop in for lunch/dinner. For over 20 yrs we have ate their delicious hot roast beef with cheese & onions with a side of their BG fries. Nowhere compares to them and I always recommend it to anyone in the area.

I had the soup of the day which was chicken noodle, they could have given me more noodles and less broth but it was seasoned well. A king turkey sub and large fry

Uncle Sam's is a great diamond in the rough for good old fashioned greasy spoon, I love this place, the young lady that works the counter during the day was amazing and very professional, thank you to her and her manager, I hope to see you guys soon.

They usually have good subs but tonight something was not right. There was not enough of meat!! I ordered a jumbo turkey and roast beef and it sadly lacked meat. Onions were laid on so thick and the sandwich was extremely dry!! Oh, i ordered 3 ice cream cones to go for my trip back home for me and my daughters andyhe cones tasted as old as the establishment. My meal was so very disappointing!!!!!!!
