Pinocchio Italian Restaurant

This place is a Burbank institution! They offer a dine-in restaurant featuring many Italian favorites served in large portions, a full deli with all the meats and other fresh food, gelato bar, and a small grocery with tons of imported Italian products. A piece of Italy right on Magnolia! They renovated their dine-in area since last I visited, and it looks so much nicer with the charming booths and rustic decor. Popular with locals and nearby offices for their fast service at the food counter, where you order whether dine-in or to-go. They have their own parking lot, so no worries with that. Massive sandwiches are delicious and does not skimp on the deli meats at all! Not much a fan of their spaghetti in meat sauce though; seems too watered down and doesn't seem to be made from scratch. But you cannot go wrong with their deli sandwiches!

As far as restaurants in LA go, there is very good food here. No complaints with the quality and selection. The service was better than other places we have been there for a week in La We had a group of 11/12 and the waiter was top notch. Thank you for a wonderful lunch, we will definitely visit again.

Under $8 for a large Italian combo sandwich with fresh deli meats? Yes please and thank you. I came here at 3pm on a Thursday and lucked out, there was only a few people inside and I hopped skipped and jumped right up to the front of the line. Absolutely fantastic sandwich - simple and uncomplicated, with high quality deli meat and cheeses and a delicious tomato spread. I actually don't like tomatoes and was so pleasantly surprised that I liked it on my sandwich (it's diced tomatoes marinated in oil and vinegar with dried herbs like oregano). I'll definitely be back to try other sandwiches, and the meatballs looked phenomenal too. Also have to go back to try the fresh mozzarella for sale in the deli. Seeing all the boars head meats, cafeteria style Italian foods, and fresh mozzarellas behind the deli window case made me think of the neighborhood Italian delis you find in New York. Can't wait to try everything on the menu.

Restaurant and marketing of Italian products, it is characterized by its delicious pizzas, its lasagna of different flavors. Exquisite imported wines, and rich pastas prepared with a delicious flavor. In its decoration you cannot miss Pinocchio, alluding to the name of the place. and prompt attention. I always visit it when I feel like a delicious pizza or a vegetable lasagna, I recommend it.

My husband and I stopped here after landing in Burbank, irritable after a TSA patdown and starving after being shuffled around airplanes and airports. I googled Italian Near Me and found an article about Pinocchio being a quick, affordable local favorite so we decided to try. It did not disappoint! We had the macaroni with sausage, peppers and red sauce and the butternut squash ravioli with pink sauce. Both were SO GOOD. We literally just sat and ate in silence. We also got a side salad that was super fresh with the best vinaigrette dressing I've ever tasted. And they really go to town on the garlic bread, I think that's because their sauces are so delicious they know you're going to want to soak up every bit. The ordering is cafeteria style but there's a nice seating area with lots of comfy booths in a little dimly lit section with checkered tablecloths and what look like vintage pictures of the Pinochio children's book. Service was super fast and food tasted fresh. Lots of great options for kids also including custom pizzas. Next to the restaurant there's a little market with lots of authentic Italian goods, we picked up some Chianti and angel hair noodles for the vacation rental. Lots of fresh cheeses and meats too. Definitely will be back here next time we're in Burbank!
