The custard pastry thing (photographed below) is AMMAAAZING! This was across the street from our hotel and while we were walking home and saw a crowd of people walking out with the long pastries and it made me curious. So one night after a very disappointing pinxtos meal we decided to go in and get some. They were 0.75 euros each or 3 for 1.5 euros, so obviously we had to get 3. It was a steal. I ordered two custard and one chocolate. They were warm when she handed them to me and I ate them right away. OOOMMMMGE! It is to die for. It was so fresh and flaky and the custard was perfect. The sweetness level was on point. I devoured them. I love chocolate, but the custard one was on a level of it's own. If you've even had a egg tart it is almost like that, but transformed. THIS STOP IS A MUST.
I kept reminding my husband that we had to stop here before we went to the airport. That morning 7:00 am the streets were still dark and as I was in awe looking at the glass window deciding what to order. SHISSSSSH! I had just stepped in dog poop! But totally worth...lol
Note: we came here a second time and the pastry wasn't as fresh (room temp) and it wasn't as good, so try to get it when it is still hot or maybe you can ask them to toast it?
After walking around at 7am, the city like a ghost town, we realized that waking up early is not a thing in Spain. There were probably more party people who hadn't slept yet than people who had just woken up.
In any case, we were jetlagged and we needed our coffee. We stumbled upon this cute bakery cafe that was one of the few places that were open on Parallel and everything looked fresh. We noticed that everything was freshly baked in the back and decided to order.
Tried a croissant, chocolate croissant, and a sandwich and all were delicious and well made. Cafe con leches were good, as well tried a light sweet bread called farton which I really enjoyed. Came back a few times and saw that this place is very popular with the locals and saw few tourists.
They also make fresh orange juice and the best almond milk I have ever tasted (horchata de chufa).
Came here for a quick breakfast pastry and some coffee. There's so many delicious looking pastries, it's hard to pick one. I got the croissants with chocolate, my husband got the apple pastry and a doughnut and apple juice for the girls, tea for me and coffee for my husband. The place has ample seating and the prices are great! They advertise a deal of mini croissants and coffee for 2 euros.
I really loved this place and only wish I had discovered it much sooner! The staff is so helpful. They bake fantastic croissants!!! Croissants so good they could compete with the best of those in Paris. The cappuccinos were also good and extremely cheap. I think two cappuccinos and a croissant was less than 3 euros! You could also get three croissants for, I believe, 1.75.

Los cannolos crocantes están deliciosos, también tienen langostinos de chocolate y hojaldre y la atención es muy agradable muy majos...
Tienen pan variado y además pan gallego tipo centeno, personal muy amable
Tiene variedad de panificados. Os recomiendo el muffin red velvet. La contra la ubicación: zona muy transitada y con bastante palomas.
Local pequeñito, acogedor. Servicio amable. Bollería recien hecha. Precio económico. Ideal para desayunar.
Me ha encantado el local. La música ambiente muy bien elegida y a un volumen perfecto. No molestaba en absoluto. La comida, original y de calidad. Hemos probado muchos platillos. Nuestro preferido, la ensaimada planchada de sobrasada. La estrella q falta es porque las raciones son algo escasas.
Restaurante para ir, por lo menos, una vez en la vida.
Los bocadillos que comimos y el jugo de frutas súper ricos. También probamos los panificados con crema y la Rosquilla que las súper recomiendo.
No entro a valorar los productos de la granier porque es una cadena y todos los conocemos. Siempre cuando hago reseñas sobre Granier valoro es la calidad del personal. En este en concreto los chicos son bastante amables, a pesar de la carga de trabajo que tienen siempre se esmeran por atendernos bien.
La dependienta de la tarde .Es muy amable .
Muy buena bollería y pronto servicio.
Buen sitio para tomar y comer algo entre comidas...
