Excellent food! Highly recommend this gem tucked away and slightly hard to find. Great selection of food with desserts to die for! Pricing was reasonable and I was able to have my first filet mignon since I've been in Spain! Chef/Owner Pau is very friendly and spent a lot of time with us explaining the selections. We felt as if we were dining in his private home! Thanks for a great night Pao!! From Joe's family
Honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever dined in. The host was terrific, the venue intimate and the food out of this world. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Great cosy romantic restaurant in Barcelona! It's a bit out of the way from the city center, but worth a little detour if you have the time. The restaurant is tiny (seats around 14 people) and it is almost always fully booked so making a reservation in advance is a must.
Your dinner starts with a glass of champagne and bread with olive tapenade on the house. Then we had the grilled octupus salad (excellent) and the grilled aubergines (very tasty) as starters. Our mains were the monkfish with fennel and citrus and the fishermen's stew. Both excellent! The dishes were all very fresh and tasty. They have a little dessert trolley which they bring our after your mains so you can see the desserts and choose what you want. The options were cheesecake, lemon merengue tarte, chocolate biscuit tart or a cheese selection. All looked amazing. We had the cheesecake (jum) and the cheese selection. They also have a nice selection of whiskeys!
Unfortunately this time I did not take pictures but I regret it!
It is not easy to find a non touristy and very very tasty restaurant in Barcelona as a tourist, but I dag and found this gem next to the plaza d'Espana. The menu is in catalan so I used my google translate on my phone underneath the table :). I had the cod and for dessert a little meringue pie. I wish I had taken pictures but trust me that the taste was complex and harmonious. The service was perfect but then, the restaurant was very quiet that night.
This was our last meal in Barcelona and possibly or favorite. Fantastic service and fantastic food start to finish. The owner really makes you feel like a welcome guest in his restaurant. Space is limited so make a reservation just in case. We definitely will on our next trip to Barcelona.
Out of this world! This is such a special find. Hidden away on a side street. Chef Pau is in credibly creative with his dishes. This small restaurant only had 6 tables. Chef comes to three table and talks about his dishes, he's funny and genuine!. Prices are affordable. One of three best meals i have had in Barcelona.
This was our favorite dining experience of our 10 day vacation in Barcelona, and we visited several Michelin starred restaurants!
You could tell Pau was passionate about his menu and about your time there. His English was amazing (our Spanish was subpar) and he took the time to explain each item and its intricacies to us.
As someone with a shellfish allergy, it was no problem at all to find something delicious. The foie was one of my favorite dishes ever (-:
We loved it!
Such an amazing restaurant! We came in after a FCBarcelona game with no reservation- we were lucky that someone didn't show for their table. Pau is the owner and chef of the restaurant. He greeted us at the door with champagne! So incredibly friendly.
Our waitress was also very nice and gave us recommendations for dinner.
The risotto was to die for! His lamb dish was a favorite of the whole trip; the duck and tuna also delicious.
Great wine, limited cocktails.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Barcelona!
Recommend a reservation earlier in the night, but they have a second seating with no reservations later in the evening. The restaurant only seats around 16- so make yourself one of the lucky few!
Thank you Chef Pau for an amazing dining experience. Your skills/knowledge in the kitchen were readily evident, but treating my wife and I as if we were friends you had welcomed into your home is what made the evening so special for us.
This place was recommended, and we walked in without a reservation--and lucked out. Or, as the owner put it, "had a flower in our bottom". We did, indeed, as this tiny place has but five tables and apparently books months in advance. Someone had cancelled, however, and we got in.
Best meal of our entire trip. The owner spoke perfect English (and French!), explained everything on the menu, and everything we ordered was fantastic--from the cava right to the dessert. The prices were reasonable, too -- I was expecting luxury prices, but the meal for two (with appetizers, dessert, and a bottle of cava in addition to the main course) cost us about 80€. My advice? If you're planning a trip to Barcelona, make a reservation well in advance. You won't regret it.
Fantastic place! My husband and I recently visited Barcelona and received this recommendation from a friend. The place is intimate (only 6 tables, make sure to have reservation early in advance) but the atmosphere was very inviting. We were greeted with a glass of cava. I had the foie gras to start and my husband had the rice dish with lobster, for dinner I had the fish and my husband had the steak. The house red wine was a steal for €10 a bottle. Overall a great night! Hidden gem in Barcelona.
This was by far the most INCREDIBLE dining experience of my life. The service and food were SPECTACULAR.

Restaurante coqueto y extremadamente agradable.

Repetiremos seguro!
