Barcelona Gourmets

La hamburguesa estaba buena. La prueba está en que no dejamos nada. Según nos dijeron era 100% de ternera y me lo creo. Pero, le faltaba un toque “Gourmet”; salsas, mejores patatas, o tal vez unas verduras tiernas, o una rodaja de queso de cabra. Fuimos por la promoción de San Miguel. En fin, volveré porque vi unas papas bravas con muy buena pinta. Además está al lado de La Sagrada Familia.

While visiting Barcelona and staying locally, we stopped by this restaurant. We usually go to out of the way restaurants but decided to stop here before lunch to get a little tapas. Their food was amazing and much better than other restaurants we went to in the same area. Next time, we will plan to eat here when we are hungrier. The servers were also amazing with my kids, with lots of high fives, tray spinning and suckers for them. It's a very family friendly restaurant and we appreciated them being so kind to our children as well as us. My Spanish is very limited (though I'm working on it) and my Catalan non-existent so I also appreciated that they were able to communicate well with me in English. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would love to come back! It's definitely one of the best meals I had while visiting Barcelona. Thank you!

We weren't sure what to expect but they broke the mould. The beer was served in a frozen glass. The food we didn't think about ordering when we initially sat down but glad we did as we needed to feed the baby was brilliant. Maybe not the best tapas in Spain but it was the best we had that weekend. The staff were AMAZING. GREAT WITH our little one. Bringing out the high chair without us asking. Thanks for great visit. And all this with an ear watering view of the Basilica.
