I know a lot of people think they work for Michelin and feel entitled to try and ruin business because they were being idiots, drinking in the parking lot, taking drinks outside or simply too cheap to tip but I can assure you, as a real pool player who takes the game seriously and understands the business that the Famous Door is a very good pool hall. The service is outstanding, the food is made to order and the tables are well maintained. Diamond and valley tables are available and are freshly re-felted every few months. I have played all over the state and very few places live up to the care and quality of the Famous Door. I would bet solid money that anyone who takes the fame seriously would have an excellent time there. The staff and regulars would gladly testify to this as well over 80% of the business are seasoned players and regulars. In this day in age I often see those who attempt to take advantage of kind people in the aervice industry and sadly almost all of them feel entitled to post gross reviews without repercussion. I myself fell victim to such behavior when I owned a property management company. I promise, the Famous Door is rarified air and if you visit, you will enjoy yourself. Sincerely, A biased regular.

From reading some reviews I wonder if we're all talking about the same bartender? If so, management should strongly consider letting her go. I went to stop and grab a quick drink and the girl bartender who talked as if she'd been drinking herself was so incredibly rude for no reason and acted as if it was a bother to order a drink from her; even after I tipped her for my first drink. She made me WANT to leave.. I won't be coming back because of this awful bartender alone and will be telling all organizations who could've brought business here to avoid this place as well.
