Red Dumpling Noodle Shop

I usually order my food to take out from Red Dumpling. I agree the decor is lacking and could use some upgrades, but the decor of the restaurant does not imply the quality or taste of the food. The food is always tasty and you get a good amount of meat in every lunch special. My favorite dish is the fried vegetable dumplings. If you go to a restaurant to get a good dining experience, this is not the place for you. However if you enjoy delicious, authentic Chinese American food without the frills then give it a try.

This place is one of a kind, the service is great. The people here are not out to impress you with anything artificial, I feel the genuine care without the corporate attitude. There is no music blasting to impress you, the children of the workers are present, and you can tell it brings a great joy to the workers to spend time with their children, the workers always have been pleasant and I have been here at least five times, my order hasn’t changed, they always spend time with the kids, and I appreciate the genuine attitude of running a business and still being a human being rather than a slave robot. Excellent pizza. Some of the best classic NY pizza around. This place has been around for 50 years I think, and nothing has changed. Very classic atmosphere with a very friendly Italian man serving you with grace. His expertise with making pizzas is superb. Crust, sauce, cheese, all excellent. Cant be better than a great slice, a fountain soda, and the newspaper.
