Electric Palm Restaurant, The

The food here is pretty solid, we mostly go for appetizers and drinks and to catch a show. Highly recommend seeing a comedy show presented by Dewayne White on Tuesdays. We also love the 80s cover bands that the Palm brings in. Honestly, the servers at this place have consistently impressed me. This place can get super busy and they always seem super chill and don’t seem to miss a beat. If you’ve never been to the Palm and you’re coming through Occoquan getting to the parking lot can seem a little tricky. Just trust your gut and take the detour that leads you back to the Marina and you’ll see it. Depending on how busy it is, you’ll probably be parking next to a boat out back.

Stopped by here on a business trip. The outdoor seating was nice with view of marina and traffic backed up on I-95 south. Also had sports on TVs outside. Server was very attentive and drinks and food came out quickly. I had the salmon, rice and broccoli. Nothing to write home about, but was good enough. I would go back if in the area again. Close to historic town, so was nice walking around there afterwards.

This is the 2nd time we have been at Electric Palm. We take our band there to perform on the weekends. The location of this restaurant is amazing. It is right on the river side with wonderful views. Because of its open-air style, in the evening you get a nice breeze. They have 2 decks for seating and dining with the bar on the bottom deck. Everyone here is very friendly, and the service is exceptional. Our server took care of our needs while we were busy playing the songs and entertaining the guests. She was awesome. We had a great audience yesterday who cheered us on and danced to our tunes. It was quite encouraging. We want to thank restaurant owners for giving this opportunity. We hope to come back in the near future.

This was just what I was looking for as a place to meet some friends for lunch. The patio is covered and had a decent view of the marina. The staff were attentive and friendly. And the food was very tasty. I had the bourbon glazed salmon and a bourbon cherry mule. Good flavors and nothing was over- or under-done. I look forward to visiting again next time I am in the area!

My sister and I went to Dewayne White’s Open Mic Comic night on Tuesday since I was in Woodbridge for a few days visiting. I found this event by looking for free things to do in Woodbridge. So glad this popped up! What a show! There were 12 or more comics in the line up. It was a wide variety of comic topics, presentation styles, and such a multi-cultural group of funny people. Of course some were funnier than others, but there was something for everyone (except kids) to find humor in. You could tell a few were new to performing , but most presented like they were born to do it. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town! I didn’t give a full 5 stars because the food was just ok. We ordered a BLT and chicken sandwich with fries.
