Followed google reviews to get here...The owners are very very nice. I didn't have the heart to tell them that the lamb pieces were very hard and didn't seem fresh (or maybe overcooked)? Unedible and disappointing. :-( Everything else was good though. Hope this offers some constructive criticism they can use to make a better dining experience for others. Maybe next time! There are many choices in the DC area for this type of food. Very cute and homey environment was a plus.

So many vegan options! Another plus is that the vegan options on the menu are clearly labeled and Tuesday is all vegan. Everything was delicious and not overly spicy. Even my parents who think that salt and pepper is spicy loved the 5 vegan sampler. There are 9 different vegan dishes you can choose from for the sampler platters. Our favorites were the chickpea, yellow split pea, collard greens, cabbage potato, and green bean dishes. The 5 sampler is more than enough for 2 people. We ordered extra injera for our 5 year old and scooped some of the sampler dishes onto a separate plate for them. The two vegan appetizers were great too. They came with a spicy green minty chutney dipping sauce. Our waitress was so nice and answered all our questions. Such a great experience.
