Not sure what happened. We ordered some fritay 2/25/22. The pikliz was sour the Accra biter the marinade inside yellow awful experience I shouldn't have listened to my neighbors 😢

No disrespect but I am sorry to say this was not the Haitian food I expected. Nothing taste the way I remembered it. Frozen vegetables in the stew turkey I never seen that before. Pickles tase like cole slaw. Smh

Worst Haitian restaurant. Save your money and go where you will be respected. There is no customer service. You can ask for meat to not be on the food on a different container. The owner will say no and just gives you food without meat. They serve old food. Their food taste burn. They are all rude including the owner. You’ve been warn.

They are always quick but food is not the best quality. Fried Plantains always too dark. They need to get their act together but at least they don't make you wait like Prosperity Island Restaurant.

I should listen to google review before I go there, but I always like to give a try. Very bad customer service, the lady upfront was rude to me, I asked for a Lalo and they provided spinach, they do not provide even a plastic spoon. The place looks like a mess. I really do not recommend someone to this place for haitian food.

Haven't been there in ages,
They were messing with a sister who was born here about her refund..
Poor her she paid en avance n it was time for her to get back to work as the food weren't ready she was like, " I don't want the food anymore, I've actually gotta go now " ect...
The guy who was there serving was like " oh know we're already making the food, so wth you're talking about " in Kreyòl,
I couldn't believe y'all trynna institute the same bad habits from Haïti up here, y'all don't even have a sign that says no refunds, give the gurl her money back or I'll call the cops...
Everybody where mad @ me for standing up for her, she was really in a distraught moment, her face said it all.
That was my last time here, customer satisfaction is the golden rules of good businesses.

I stopped by Lakay to grab some take out. It was my first time here. The staff behind the counter were so kind, gracious, and humble.
I had the griot with rice, and it was delicious!
I recommend Lakay. 5 stars!
