This is the best Mexican restaurant we have eaten at. We compare any Mexican restaurant we eat at to this one. I have a "top ten" list for my reviews . After our visit to Los Tres Amigos I score this as #1. I had the "lunch chimichangas" ($6.99) Strawberry margarita (1/2 price Tuesday and Thursday) My rating is based on 3 weights : 70% = taste 20% = presentation 10% = price Taste was the excellent . Presentation was excellent . Price was excellent . Service was excellent .

Vente Paca for lunch or dinner. This place has loads of options for vegans or those that want all the comfort calories of Mexico. Your options are bountiful. I ordered chicken enchiladas and the seasons of flavor did a samba of happiness in my mouth! Again, come and keep supporting our local family owned businesses.

We had a great meal! Didn't have to wait to be seated and the drinks are the best I have had! We had the margaronas and the flavors are fantastic! The food came hot and quick and was amazing. Our waiter, I wish I got his name, was great, very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! I make it a point to eat here when I am in Waukee.

Good service, especially considering the time we stopped in. We throughly enjoyed our meals! When we want authentique Mexican cuisine Los Très Amigos delivers, every single time! I had the beef chimichanga with rice, refried beans & the normal toppings. Jerry had a combination platter which he raved about. "Shrinkflation" has affected the portion sizes BUT it is minor. We left full, happy with the service and the price. I highly recommend trying Los Très Amigos in Waukee.

Decent Tex-Mex style resturant. The menu is about three times longer than it needs to be, but the food is good. Staff are excellent and were very accommodating when I visited over my birthday. I hope this long time staple in town isn’t forgotten as the area grows. I’ll return.
