Cade's Home Cooking

My parents were talking about this place when I went to visit them for the holidays. We ended up going before I left and they had good reason to talk it up. This family owned restaurant sits in the town square making it easy to locate (though I imagine parking could be difficult at times. Cade's serves up great Southern classics such as fried chicken and catfish with various wides and desserts that taste amazing. If you find yourself in Washington, GA, Cade's is a spot that you have to try. Everything is delicious and the people friendly.

The food and the service was far and away the very best.., if I had one complaint, it would be that all the veggies (except the corn) we're seasoned with pork. And of course being in the South you would expect that. So no real criticism, just a lot of love for Cade's... So much so we brought a large order of Mac 'n cheese back to share at the Church's pot luck dinner. It was well received.

Only thing that tops the food here is the service and friendly folks that provide the food for you. Good food at a fair price and one of the best Arnold Palmer's I've ever drank. Whenever I'm in Washington, GA I will always plan my visit to include eating here, then take a leisurely walk around town and just relax. Life just doesn't get much better than that.
