Asahi All You Can Eat

My second all you can eat restaurant experience, and I was very pleased for the most part. I like how they take orders- by having you fill it out as you clear out the plates. The food came out very fast, hardly any delay. The soup, salad, hibachi chicken and monster sushi was good. My only complaint would be the dumplings were mediocre and the fried rice was not good-too mushy/bland. Won't order those two next time.

Im from out of town and on the way to Pittsburgh airport my brother who frequents Asahi took me. What a great concept and price point. Highly recommend for anyone who likes sushi or hibachi. We sat at a regular table and ordered 3 different rounds of food. I will definately return next time im in Pittsburgh visiting.

We were originally going to go to the Chinese Buffet a bit away from here, but instead decided to try this place, as it came highly recommended. The food was good. The people, however, were not. After having been short and rude for our entire dining experience, when it came time to pay our bill, a $47 tab, between two people, we were going to do about a twenty five percent tip, so about sixty some odd bucks. I handed her my card, and she walked away, came back LITERALLY 30 SECONDS LATER, and she not working, declined. I get direct deposit payed on Tuesdays. I know it should work, but she over heard us talking about having cash to tip. She legit lied to our faces about my card being ran, and if it was declined or RAN AT ALL, I would get a text. Nothing. So we payed in cash, no big deal. Then she comes back and I understand times are tough, for business and patrons alike, but she rounded up and gave us back no change. Then stood there waiting for her tip. No thank you. No please come again or asking how our food was. Just rude, lying, thieving tactics that were not necessary. We would have gladly paid in all pennies if they had asked. I can overlook a rude server or even bad food. People have bad days. But telling someone who is struggling like everyone else, yet still tries to support local business that their account is empty is a bridge too far. One you do not cross. Yes, we still tipped her. Well even. But I will never patronize this place again, and you shouldn't either if you read this. Short of an explanation and an apology from ownership, my mind is made up there.
