Tula's Restaurant And Bar

This excellent and perfect combination of craft restaurant, quaint cafe, outdoor fire pit patio and cozy bar makes the town of Little Washington a grazing, sipping and dining destination in its own right for the vast majority of people who are not staying at the Little Washington Inn just steps away, but are visiting for the galleries, scenery and other venues. Sophisticated offerings in a friendly, informal, authentic vintage setting overlooking pastoral hills and valleys dotted with historic farms and homes. An ideal accompaniment to any trip out to the dozens of nearby wineries, hikes, Old Rag and Shenandoah Park, and other local sites.

Please follow us on Facebook at SNDTravels. Diane and I had a little extra time to get from Baltimore to Daleville VA and so we took advantage. Stopped in (Little) Washington VA. What a neat old town. Brunch at Tula's was a real treat. Diane had the quiche of spinach, bacon, sausage and Gruyere cheese, the flavors coming together wonderfully alongside a salad with heirloom tomatoes. I went for the beef, a handmade burger with cheddar and bacon and a side of crispy fries. Needless to say we both had smiles when we walked out. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was upper casual. This place comes recommended indeed.

We enjoyed our patio meal here immensely! Our server, Hannah, is among the best we've encountered, anywhere! We had an fabulous conversation with owner and pastry chef, Elizabeth! Our pork and fig sandwich was great as we weren't hungry enough for a full entree. The fig chutney would be a great meal in itself!

I was at Tula's with a group of a dozen plus back in June 2014 and I had a a great meal and a great time. I had one of the specials which was awesome and the beer selection contained a lot of local/regional brews. The staff was as nice and attentive as could be. I'll be back in Washington VA in June of 2015 and planned to head back to Tula's.
