Sweetgreen 14th W

If you are a first timer in this chain. They don’t bother to explain how ordering works, have no patience to explain anything, expect you to know their offerings. You need to ask 3 questions for them to mumble one word. Overall non-friendly experience. Feels overcharged for a bland simple salad meal.

I used to be a Sweetgreen evangelist and went through phases of picking up salads almost every evening on my way home from the gym. However, over the past year or so, I have soured on Sweetgreen. The portion sizes have been cut significantly while the prices continue to inch upwards. On several occasions, I have picked up salads from the 14th and W location where I’ve been able to see the bottom of the bowl. At first, I just continued reporting my negative feedback on the app and getting store credit, but at this point, Sweetgreen isn’t even worth the effort it takes for me to do that, far less my money. My favorite fast casual chain has now become my meal of last resort.

Not just this Sweetgreen but every location I have been to is sooo stingy with their portions. I don't know if they train their managers to make all the employees do it or what, but in comparison to other similar chains, it's pathetic how little they give you. Roti, Chopped, TBSP, Beefsteak, and countless smaller independent salad/bowl places will give you much bigger portions and not charge you an extra $0.50 just few a few extra slices of cucumber or carrot...
